Project Overview
Hikma Pharmaceuticals, a multinational healthcare company with operations across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and the United States, commissioned ArchSkills to design the interior of its 950 m² regional headquarters on King Fahd Road, Riyadh. The brief called for a high-performance corporate environment aligned with the company’s global standards, covering a dense and varied program: an executive entrance lobby, a manager suite with a private secretary station, multiple private offices, four meeting rooms of varying capacity, an open workstation cluster, a central lounge, a reception area, a kitchen bar, and complete wet area facilities.
The Challenge
Designing a complex corporate program at this scale required careful spatial resolution across multiple functional zones that had to coexist without conflict. Acoustic separation between the executive suite, enclosed meeting rooms, and the open workspace was a core design requirement, addressed through partition layout, ceiling zoning, and materials selection. The design also had to accommodate dense IT and AV infrastructure for hybrid meeting environments, while maintaining a refined corporate aesthetic aligned with Hikma’s brand identity throughout.
Our Approach
ArchSkills developed a design that organizes the 950 m² floor plate into clearly defined zones, each with its own spatial character while maintaining visual coherence across the whole. The process began with detailed space planning to resolve circulation, hierarchy, and adjacency, followed by a full 3D visualization package for client review and approval before finalization. Materials, finishes, and joinery were specified to meet both the acoustic requirements of the program and the quality expectations of a multinational headquarters environment
