Kitchen Bazar Retail Fit-Out, Abha
Full turnkey retail fit-out on King Fahd Road, Abha 530 m² of interior works, MEP, furniture & facades delivered by ArchSkills in 2024.
Project Overview
Kitchen Bazar’s Abha branch sits on King Fahd Road between Abha and Khamis Mushait, one of the region’s highest-traffic retail corridors. ArchSkills was appointed as the main contractor for a full turnkey scope covering 530 m² of retail space. The contract included all interior fit-out works, electromechanical systems, furniture supply and installation, and full external facade treatment. The store opened to the public in 2024 and serves as a flagship presence for the Kitchen Bazar brand in the Asir region.
Scope of Works
ArchSkills delivered the complete project under a single contract:
- Interior fit-out: gypsum partitions, suspended ceilings, wall cladding, flooring, and all surface finishes
- Electromechanical works: electrical distribution, LED lighting systems, HVAC, fire alarm and suppression
- Furniture & display fixtures: custom retail shelving, display units, and checkout counters supplied and installed
- External facades: branded facade system aligned with Kitchen Bazar’s retail identity.
Materials & Finishes
The retail environment was specified for high footfall durability while maintaining the clean, aspirational aesthetic of the Kitchen Bazar brand. Porcelain floor tiles in large format, painted gypsum ceiling with integrated LED track lighting, and custom MDF display joinery with laminate finish were specified throughout. The facade combines aluminium composite cladding with a backlit signage system visible from King Fahd Road.
MEP & Technical Works
The electromechanical package was self-delivered by ArchSkills through its certified subcontractor network.
The 530 m² floor plate required full LV electrical distribution, circuit-breaker zoning for display and feature lighting, a concealed-units HVAC layout sized for Abha’s climate range, and a conventional fire alarm and suppression system compliant with SBC requirements.
